Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Excellent pesto pizza, as well as traditional pepperoni. I had a Stella Artois® Beer that was on tap. Yum. Was our first time eating there after having driven past it a few times. Highly recommend this place. Great family atmosphere, very friendly and like hanging out at a favorite neighbor's house. Thank you so much!

This place is amazing. Lots of places to sit outside and relax, they have a water bowl outside for your dog if you choose to bring it (have to stay outside, of course). Service is great, the food is awesome and affordable (I recommend the chicken brie sandwich), nice little selection of beers and is puppydog friendly. I love it!

Treehouse has the best pizzas on the island. The atmosphere is great, decent beer selection, and friendly staff.

Food is great and ambience is really fun. We had our wedding at the manor house and grabbed snacks here many times leading up to the day, and ordered a big plate of food from the wedding party. We also went for breakfast the two days following the wedding so had lots of experience in short order here! The food we ordered for the wedding party was great, but the cook was a little short with us ("I have a line of people so let's hurry it up folks"). The two mornings we picked up breakfast, I asked them for quarters in my change so I could buy a paper and both times they forgot. No biggie, but that's the kind of thing that makes a small cafe extra nice. The first morning, some other customer walked off with my sandwich before I picked it up. They made me another, but it was wrong (wrong bagel and wrong meat). It was still good, but it looks like someone tossed the ticket early. They are a good little place, but I suspect they'll have to step up the game just a little with the new Market across the street going in, which is highly anticipated and looks amazing.

We are coffee snobs, & cappuccino here best so far in Bainbridge--milk on top like they do in Italy. Wish I could say the same for pizza--no way. Good service, friendly staff.
(5)PJ D.
Ordered half Greek and half Vegetable pizza. It was delicious! Good wine as well...we had the Pinot Grigio with our pizza. Service was fast and friendly.
(5)Adrienne C.
This place is terrible! I can't believe the decent reviews here. We ordered 3 different pasta entrees and they were all bad. Pasta was overcooked and gluey. Sauce is too sweet. When I complained the manager did not seem to care. Don't waste your money like we did. They should have given us a complimentary meal to give the place another try or at least an "I'm sorry you did not enjoy your food". He asked us if we told our server about the fact that we were unhappy with our meals. We did not. We were just not in the mood to make a fuss about it but I did want the manager to know before we left that our food was not good. So apparent that what we thought did not matter.
(1)Lisa M.
Plenty of room in this restaurant. The staff are all friendly and food is great. Main dishes are sandwiches, pizza, and a few pasta dishes. The chipotle chicken sandwich is delish. Good place for kids, too. :) Also, they have a mean mocha!
(5)Linda G.
Great pizza! We had the pepperoni for the kids, and one with artichoke hearts for the adults. We started with the antipasto plate, which was delicious! It had stuffed grape leaves, cheeses, salamis, olives, and more! We came on a Friday evening, so it was a bit crowded, but were seated within twenty minutes.
(5)Amanda M.
Great pizza, salad and service. Has a very tight knit atmosphere inside which they nearly instantly include you in.
(5)Nancy O.
The food is quite good, but the reason I'm only giving 2 stars is that the service isn't that great and they have really weird rules about table service vs takeout and how to reserve tables. We got there when they were quite busy and no tables were available. When I ordered, I said we were waiting for a table and wanted our food "for here" but was informed that unless we actually already had a table, we had to order our food "to go." OK. By the time our food was prepared, we had secured a table, but were told we couldn't eat our "to go" food there, because the table was reserved. We persuaded them to let us sit at the table but there were lots of rolling eyes and employees being spoken to in front of guests. Not at all welcoming. We'll find somewhere with less confusing rules next time.
(2)Erin O.
We've had pizza and salads here a few times. It was always tasty.
(3)Danimal B.
Very good pizza! Atmosphere was good and its fun when they have live music! Great chill place to hang out on Bainbridge Island.
(4)Craig K.
A great hot spot. I grew up in the neighborhood (which was a very sleepy place) and it is so nice to see an old established area come to life. The food is awesome (Rockaway Pizza my fav). Then add in all the great acts that come in, wonderful venue.

Was excited to try this place after reading the reviews raving that it's the best pie on BI etc. Grabbed a friend and headed out. I just knew it would be good, but this was the first Yelp four star pick that let me down. The service was adequate, but nothing over the bare necessities to take an order, deliver the order, and collect the money. We sat there with empty drinks for at least half of our stay. The pizza? Definitely nowhere near the top on BI, much less anywhere else. We ordered the BBQ chicken pie off the menu. The crust was bready, lacking the structure and chewy goodness of a well made dough. The toppings were a gooey lumpy mess under a blanket of cheese that you couldn't see anything through. It was generally wet and the toppings slid all over the place. The flavor was alright other than the load of cheese that just smothered everything. I was disappointed and will not take the 5 extra minutes to drive over there again.

A huge fan of this place since I was introduced to it six years ago. It was clean simple and nice. Great coffee, drip/espresso, delicious muffins and scones, and of course, the lunch was phenomenal. Once they got the croutons down, the caesar was a regular in my belly, paired with the veggie sandwich. Things have changed though, let's discuss. The expansion was one of the best things Arnie could have done (in my eyes). They extended hours, adding a relaxing and user friendly bar, crazy delicious pizza, and entrees. After most of the kinks and winks got ironed out, this place became a steady stream of busy goodness. Favorite pizza: Old Mill (I have my reasons) Favorite Salad: Spinach Favorite Seat: (day) back couches and (night) bar. There's a decent rotating tap and smartly purchased wine (a tasty glass won't cost you an arm) Since moving to Seattle I've missed this place and swear it has most of my favorite components. And may I also add, this place has the best pizza I have ever had. Well, as well as Mountain High Pizza Pie. Word.
(4)Sherry C.
Best pizza on the island! Great selection of beer too! It is in an older building, so not exactly spotless.
(4)Elle E.
We went to Treehouse Café for the first time and loved it! The atmosphere is fantastic. The place is large enough to handle have enough seating, but still cozy. They have a room with a couple of pool tables next to the dining area. We plan on going back some night for the live music they have there. My husband and I each got a small pizza and an order of hot wings to split. I had a pepperoni and sausage with thyme infused olive oil instead of red sauce. I love a place that offers more than just pesto for those of us who can't stand tomato sauce. The crust is thin, but not too thin, and crispy with a chewy crust. Absolutely incredible! My husband got the Thai pizza which was good, but even better the next day.
(4)Mary M.
Great pizza - love the pesto chicken one.
(4)Amy J.
I love this place.....usually. Seems like the service and food have been hit or miss lately. Great little spot and perfect for families.
(3)Johnny B.
Late Saturday afternoon lunch and the service was fast & very friendly. Kids loved the pizza & mac-n-cheese. I dug my meatball sandwich & the ladies enjoyed their salads. Would like to come back sometime for dinner & brews.
(4)Terry A.
Food is pretty good and made on the spot. Service is less than adequate and varies significantly from day to day.
(2)Neal S.
Great place for grabbing a quick sandwich and beer. Nice atmosphere and decent prices. Outdoor seating is nice and dog friendly.
(5)Nate R.
An employee for a little while but mostly a patron. Food is great across the board, good beer, and the addition of the pool tables and music is awesome. Perfect place to meet friends and enjoy good times and good food.
(4)Kevin A.
This restaurant is a hidden gem on Bainbridge Island. It's located in the small town of Lynnwood, in the southern part of the island. As a result, not too many tourists stop by. This place is reserved to the locals of Bainbridge Island who know where to go for the best pizza and beer on the island. It's also one of the best places on the island to enjoy the company of friends while playing a game of pool and watching a football game. This place epitomizes the local neighborhood character of Bainbridge Island. Great food and drinks, friendly people, and a relaxed, airy atmosphere. They have a wide variety of really good pizzas. We had the Thai chicken pizza, which was outstanding. They also have a selection of sandwiches and pasta dishes, which I haven't yet tried but are probably good as well.
(4)Elise L.
Stopped by here recently after an afternoon out hiking and enjoying the beautiful weather. It's cute, cozy, and only feels slightly touristy, though that impression might be because holy crap, there were a lot of bicyclists in there that day. Way too much spandex and orange safety color. My tuna melt was amazing - actually light and fluffy and hardly any mayo at all, all on a toasted baguette. The boy expressed some regret about ordering the french dip instead of something else, though he said it was perfectly serviceable. He was also a bit disgruntled by the portion size of the sandwiches - I think a half is a 4-inch, a whole is an 8-inch (the boy likes to eat). The sandwiches come with a slice of melon and a pickle, both of which I fed to the boy because, again, his food wasn't enough to satisfy his appetite. For the price point, I think it would be nice if they included a bit more in the way of a side dish, but I'd still totally go back in a heartbeat (mostly to try one of those amazing looking pizzas).
(4)Laura O.
We stopped by the cafe for lunch while exploring the island. I wanted to order soup since it was a good day to order soup (It was a cold day!) but they were out of what I wanted. I ended up ordering the brie on baguette bread. We did notice that people ordered pizza. It did look okay. (We were not in the mood for pizza that day.) It looked like a popular place since the place was busy the whole time we were there. They have a bar section and I noticed that they offered micro brew beer.
(3)Corey W.
I love this place. This is the first place i will take out of town visiters. Their desserts are amazing. I'm working my way through all if their pizzas and haven't been dissapointed. Very family friendly.
(4)Megan A.
Wonderful sports bar attitude with the warmth of the island. Have been here twice in the last week. Salads are huge. Pizza has a thin crust loaded with toppings. Have had the meat lovers and the chicken pesto artichoke pizza. They also serve breakfast, pastries from the bakery next-door and espresso. The bar is great with sports on the tv. Darts and two pool tables. A great place for the younger crowd on the island. Saturday was pretty packed and we had to wait. Staff is somewhat forgetful but hey it's a cafe/ bar. Overall will go back.
(4)Juan M.
The best pizza on the island. Period. The oven makes all the difference. The toppings are fresh and the pizzas are thin crust and crispy. I don't know which pizza is my favorite, as they are all good. We have eaten pizza there as well as gotten take away. Always hot always fresh and its perfect before a movie at Lynnwood center. Its kinda far from my house and they do not deliver - well not yet anyway. That would get them the 5th star from me! Everyone there is friendly and the place is always clean. They have a great party room in the back for a large group. Just let them know when you are coming and they will try to accommodate as the did for us. Arnie is great, a very friendly guy. It reflects in his staff too!
(4)Island Kritic s.
Best pizza on the Island. And since the remodel much more space. For adults this is a happening place in the evenings at the weekends - especially when theres a good game on. Service is always good and friendly and the choice beyond pizzas is also wide. Love this place!! Well done.
(5)Jen O.
Treehouse is amazing! I love going to Treehouse with my family. The food is beyond great, and I would go as far to say they have the best pizza around. They also make killer latte's. The staff is friendly and really care about what they are doing. I don't know about the review that says "NOT kid friendly." If it wasn't kid friendly they wouldn't have a basket full of kids books, and toys. I see happy children there all the time. It's very family friendly! Truly an Island gem!
(5)Benjamin H.
Stopped by for a quick lunch with an old friend here. It was a beautiful day and we sat outside in their awesome patio. We had salads which were very good. Hummus plate was looking good too with awesome fresh kalamata olives. Friendly laid back atmosphere and nice staff. There was even some live music outside down the way. Clean bathrooms. All around good food and pleasant atmosphere.
(4)Tim S.
Very happy with the pizza sauce, sandwhiches. Staff sucks. Cool spot. Expensive for what they sell. Pizza has a very clean taste, unlike anything I have ever had. Very impressive 'ZA. One of my top spots on the island.
(5)n a.
Awesome pizza, Awesome beer. Bring the kids or bring the friends....there is even live music on the weekend! Pools tables and fun!
(5)J. W.
Service is getting better & pizza is always good. The atmosphere is just ok particularly on the "family" Side of the restaurant. They kept the outside door open all night while seven different customers ate their pizza with their coats on. I closed It once and they propped it back open, apparently the kitchen gets warm. At some point thy need to create the same atmosphere on both sides of the line.
(3)michelle y.
I love the pizza here! I'm here about once a week!
(5)MissMaryAnn D.
pizza, beer, coffee, and a hunk (of cake) Recently expanded coffee house, conveniently located next to the Lynwood Theatre, now serves a decent pizza . Lotsa beers on tap, sandwiches and salad too. Pizza crust is thin how I like it, and the toppings are thick enough to satisfy the huzbeau. We like the Old Mill pizza with roasted garlic and sausage. The salads could use a little love - they are just ingredients piled high on a plate with some dressing on the side. I'd like the offer of having the kitchen toss the greens with the dressing for me. Also, the plates are so small, the salad is falling off the plate - how about a nice bowl? With just a little love, these could be really great salads. The sandwiches are equally blah. Only offered on a very flat tasting baguette. The traditional fillings would be fine with some really great bread - may I suggest the Village Baker in Port Hadlock? I mostly go for my post walk coffee and bagel and sit on the big comfy leather couch in the back. They also have ice cream which is a big hit with the summertime bikers and kayakers who frequent the area. But mostly - mostly they have really great cakes - big four layer hunks like sugar rhubarb and carrot. A side of americano and you're set for a movie next door . The interior is beautiful, with a new bar designed especially for the space. Hardwood floors and antique wood tables make it very cozy and homey. Local art changes monthly. Servers and baristas are attractive, effiicient and friendly. The owner, Arnie, is kinda sweet and hunky like the cake. I'm tellng you - love up the sandwiches and salad a bit, and you won't be able to keep me away from the place.
(3)Tracey K.
Great food, but don't bother with paying to see a show there. The Paperboys were great as always, but the stage is so low that the standing room tix mean you can't see unless you are over 6 feet tall! They only had one poor server working the standing room only room.
(3)Crystal F.
Awesome thin crust pizza. Excellent, friendly service. Good beers on tap and a decent wine list. Great place to hang with friends.
(4)Pat R.
the best pizza on bainbridge, this is what i have been looking for since i moved here, maybe i wont have to move over to the seattle side after all they have a nice bar area too with a good selection on tap appears to be family owned/operated, yes, this place is a winner
(5)Wendy B.
This is a great place. All the food is delicious. My favorites are the cheese pizza, french dip sandwich and spinach salad. Food prices are very reasonable. The service is sometimes a little slow but they are all very nice servers. The sodas are really overpriced. I love the fact you can bring kids and sit on the family side or without kids it's on the pub side. Highly recommend coming here!!
(4)Oz O.
I had to make a New Year's Resolution to not frequent the Tree House more than once a week this year (fiscal reasons.) Best pizza, best BLT, and best Arnie's Cobb (walnuts, apples, and avocados with bleu cheese dressing) on the Island. Eat here and see an art film at the theatre next door. Nicest and most welcoming staff you could ask for. The berry cobbler with a generous portion of ice cream is to die for.
(5)Brent C.
Decent lunch. The sandwiches were good, but nothing special, and a little on the cold side for hot sandwiches. Service was fine. There aren't many restaurants in this part of the island, so it's worth going if you're in the area, but not worth a special trip.
(3)Kristen H.
We come here for a date night quite a bit. We love their pizza. In my opinion, it's the best on the Island. We have always had great service. I once had the manicotti (I'm a vegetarian) and it wasn't the best. Not super flavorful and over-loaded with cheese. Just not my thing, but I love their pizza. I've had the veggie, odd fellow, and a couple make your own. My husband gets meat pizzas and loves them. Their salads are also great. I like the atmosphere. It's a good mix of people with a happy vibe. This place keeps Lynwood alive, we are lucky to have the Treehouse on the Island.
(4)Sandra L.
One of my daughters and I just tried this place for lunch last week. It was recommended by their dishwasher, Matt, who we know from Special Olympics Basketball. It was the best lunch I have had in a long time. The Caesar salad was good, we asked for it with light dressing and it had good garlic flavor but wasn't overpowering, and although it was creamy getting it "light" was just right and there wasn't too much "goo" for us. The pizza, (we had the Pesto with chicken, mushrooms and other assorted goodies) was fantastic. I don't like a doughy pizza and really can't eat them since I'm supposed to watch gluten intake (docs orders...) so this was perfect as it was thin and crispy but substantial enough to hold the chunky items on top that were all delicious. I don't get to the island often...I find it a bit of culture clash for me and I start going into PTSD due to my days at TESC (Geoducks, you know who you are...) but it was a great find and we will be back.
(4)Jeffrey S.
Cool place in a cool location that is off-the-beaten path. Give it a try.
(4)W M.
Was there this evening. Food was great. Service not so much. We were a polite table of five. "Starters" were ordered separately beforehand yet they were served several minutes after our main course arrived. One of us ordered a sandwich without tomatoes - it arrived with tomatoes. When the server was politely told about this, the sandwich was not remade they simply scraped off "most" of the chopped tomatoes. Even though we arrived early and ordered promptly, we were apparently too late for dessert - with a tab well over $100 we were served ice cream in paper cups with plastic spoons - clearly the message was "we want you to leave now." We were out of there before the posted closing time so I can't imagine what the issue was except that our server wanted to be done for the night. The tip left for her reflected my displeasure.
(2)Corinne C.
This is the first review I'm writing because it was just that bad. I am visiting Washington from California, and I found this place on Yelp. I thought it looked promising. I came with my mom and sister. After we walked in, we started looking at the menu on the wall and a waitress told us that if we were there for dinner we can seat ourselves and they would bring us menus. We found a table for three outside and sat down. We waited a couple minutes and a girl came over and took our drink orders and gave us menus. We got our drinks pretty quickly and the girl said our waitress would be right with us. Then we sat there for 20 minutes without being approached again. The waitress for our area walked by our table 4 times without stopping. She kept going to the same table and it looked like all the other tables around us were being neglected also. I don't know if the table she kept going to were her friends or something but it was so ridiculous that we decided to just pay for our drinks and leave. Just when we were getting out the $6 to pay for the drinks did the waitress finally come by and ask us if anybody had taken our orders yet. We said no but that we were leaving. She didn't even try to get us to stay. Woooooow. One of the worst service experiences I've ever had!
(1)Jack S.
Had great sandwiches for a business meeting today, would highly recommend this place for great takeout orders if you're in town.
(5)Krysta B.
Friendly waitstaff, adequate food, casual ambience. I have come here a few times now, and I always leave satisfied. The pizza is excellent, salads are tasty, but the pasta leaves something to be desired. The coffee is fantastic. The staff are all very friendly and service is prompt.
(3)Lynn L.
Great food and family friendly. Lots of options from pizza to sandwiches to pasta and salads. Unbelievable entertainment and lots of seating. They have 8 beers on tap with 4 of those rotating. Indoor and outdoor seating and they even have an espresso bar. Chef Meghan has the most creative pizza and you can taste the love.
(5)Sandy W.
My daughter, son-in-law, grandson, granddaughter and I ate there a couple of weekends ago during a soccer tournament. Terrible food. No one questioned the fact that we left most of the food uneaten. Will not eat there again.
(1)L P.
Definitely worth a repeat. The Treehouse Café is in the trendy Lynnwood Center. The atmosphere is very nice, there is a great outdoor seating area, and s nice indoor atmosphere. The service was terrific, and the food was very good. I had the manicotti, my husband had the French dip. Both were fine. You won't write home about the cuisine, but the combination takes it to four stars. The location, atmosphere, good service, and quality food makes it worth going back for more.
(4)Daniel R.
Love this place. It's got decent enough pizza, pretty good sandwiches, a modest selection of beers. But it's solidly, reliably good food at a reasonable price. Treehouse has fantastic service- their waitstaff is always friendly, patient with my girls (two young'ns), attentive, etc. The restaurant itself is simple and attractive. It's also got two nice pool tables and a decent dart setup, which makes it my favorite place on the island to have a drink with friends. As long as I keep feeling welcome and can afford to eat there, I'll keep coming back.
(4)Brian L.
I don't know why I should say I was pleasantly surprised with this place. It's in a pretty affluent neighborhood, and everything looks olde English and the streets are pristine. So this place is sort of wanting to be a sports bar, but the clientele seems mostly upper-class so I guess it is fitting that the food is of a good quality. The salads taste fresh and are well dressed, the sandwiches are served with fruit instead of frites, and the portions are not gastronomical. It was fairly busy, but there was seating in the bar area. The service was a little slow, but that may have just been due to the weekend and the flux of outsiders on BBI for the Rotary Sale. Prices are expected, but since the portions are a tad smaller than average, I wish the prices reflected that. Keep in mind, I think the portion size is appropriate. Just smaller than usual. 'Merica!
(4)Amanda N.
came here for just coffee and see what all they had to offer as a tourist. The coffee was good but wasn't as hot as I'm use too
(3)Betty J.
Service-- horrible!! Food average at best. This is my second visit and I was hoping for some improvement but sadly there was none. I will not be back for rude servers and average at best pizza.
(2)Lisa M.
This place was recommended to us by a local business owner. We were excited to try it out. The service is lacking. Our server thought serving the appetizer, salad and entree at the same time was a good method. When I asked someone to send over the manager, they pointed out that our server was the manager. Okay, guess we can at least say that we've tried the place. The food was average. We had tried Bene, earlier in the week, and will definitely go back to Bene next time we're in town.
(2)David C.
Salad was fresh and pizza was superb. Very friendly service. Outdoor seating available: Very clean with a pleasant and serene street view. However, judging by almost every seat outside being taken on a Tuesday, if you come on a nice weekend, don't plan on being able to enjoy the sunshine.
(5)Scott S.
My favorite Pizza on Bainbridge Island in a crowded field of available pizza restaurants. Great servers, love the atmosphere, near other interesting finishing spots like the yogurt shop, the bakery, wine tasting bar etc. in Pleasant Beach. The outdoor dining is very relaxing and enjoyable in the summer. They have other excellent offerings on the menu, which are also very good, but if you want pizza, this is the place you want to get it. Prices are fair and the waiters are friendly and attentive. I love this place and return frequently. Highly recommended for an afternoon in Bainbridge Island.
(5)Barrett B.
We have been coming here a long time and have typically had a great experience. However, it seems they have changed the sausage they use on their rock away special to something that has very little taste. I know that some can not handle anything that's spicier than milk but maybe if the customer had a choice between spicy and a boring waste of calories it would be great.
(4)Dan C.
Went a month ago. Yum. Today i ordered the same delicious sandwich. Chicken was day old and dry as dry. Terrible tasted too. Wont be back for a long time.
(3)Bob L.
Wow, what crappy service. We gathered here with several local graduates to find a very snooty, shitty attitude wait staff. You would think spending several $100 we would have had some respect. Instead, we were cut off for no explained reason even though we had several designated drivers. When asked to talk to the manager, after 30 minutes, someone arrived and passed the buck to our waitress, who was an absolute bitch. All in all, a very immature and unreasonable staff. the food was JUST ok, but we will NEVER come back to this establishment. Unfortunate as there are not many places to frequent on Bainbridge, but we will drive many miles out of our way to avoid this place.
(1)C M.
I legitimately crave their Point White Pesto Pizza on a regular basis. Living the majority of the year 3,000 miles away is torture after having tasted that delicacy. Treehouse is a hip/artsy cafe/bar/eatery. Weekend/night performances, mixed with local artist's work decorating the walls and a walk up ice cream case right inside the door make for an eclectic but awesome dining experience. Treehouse is the cornerstone of this shopping plaza which also houses a movie theater (great for dinner and a movie). Their menu is simple: pizza, salad, sandwiches, but the ingredients and products they produce are amazing. Everything is made to order and the ingredients are fresh. I've tried a few of their sandwiches and have been impressed, but the Point White Pizza takes the cake.
(5)Maria B.
Pizza on the island. This is a popular pizza place on Bainbridge Island. We did not eat in here, but we stopped by to pick up our order. Its a large restaurant, seats family and kids, I think had a "family friendly" area, which was nice. They do have a full bar. There is some outside seating as well. Our pizzas were terrific, as were the salads that we ordered as well. They came well wrapped for takeout, and exactly as ordered, so no surprise when we arrived back at the house. Parking was street, and we found a spot, but I imagine its not always easy. Review 325
(4)Jim M.
Since we moved from Los Angeles almost 2 months ago we've eaten here over 10 times. Their pizza's are fabulous. Their salads are wonderful. sandwiches very unique. Their wait staff are friendly & knowledgable. We will continue to make this establishment our 'go to' restaurant for years to come. I heartily recommend it!!!
(4)Becky G.
We came here right after the lunch rush, so the restaurant was fairly empty. Our waitress approached up fairly quickly to take our drink order. They have a lot of great sounding menu items. The waitress took so long coming back to take our orders, about 10 minutes. We ordered a stromboli appetizer, with Italian meats and cheese. My husband ordered a meatball sub, and I ordered a chicken caesar salad. The appetizer came up fairly quickly, and was by far the best part of the meal. Very, very tasty. My husband's meatball sub was good, but came with a sliver of cantaloupe and pickle...quite an odd combination. My salad was huge, but only okay. The chicken was not good at all, but the dressing and croutons were tasty. The main reason for only three stars is the service. Our waitress was so uninterested in our table and the only other table in her section. We waited forever for the check, then another 10-15 minutes for her to pick up our payment. She never checked on us, or offered more drinks. Really too bad, because I would love to try their pizza (based off of the stromboli appetizer), but I don't think we will be trying again.

This venue is AWFUL for performances. Don't go!! Despite reserving a spot well in advance, and paying $37/each for 4 of us, we were put in a corner of the room, separated only by a curtain from the raucous bar! We could hardly hear the musician. It was so distracting. Our entire party skipped a Seattle show to go all the way to Bainbridge to be at this venue. Big mistake. The odd thing is that the owner has a huge space. He could have easily arranged for all customers not attending the show to be seated in another room! We complained during the show, and nothing was done to improve our experience. When we contacted the owner after the show, he did NOTHING to rectify the problem.

This place was AMAZING! First let's start out with the iced tea, it was not the typical Lipton blend. Next let's travel to our appetizer of hot artichoke dip... this creamy dish was cooked to perfection with what I expect was a whole freshly toasted baguette. We chose to split a 12" pizza (yes we had leftovers) we went with a create your own mix of kalamata olives and pepperoni. I will certainly be back to this establishment as the menu boasted some truly delicious looking meals. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful. Also, the outdoor seating was great on a sunny summer day like today! Thank you Treehouse staff!

The only good pizza in Bainbridge Island. Great location, away from Winslow. Atmosphere is fun and eclectic, love the old pool tables as furniture and the floor coverings. Wait staff is very customer focused. The Thai peanut pizza is remarkable. Try the anti pesto sampler! It's amazing. Very good price on everything.

I adore this restaurant and love the style but the menu has been the same for ages! The restaurant is wonderful but the menu needs to be changed direly!!! There are also not many vegetarian options so when I go I get the ravioli every time!

My cutie and I stopped into the Treehouse for dinner yesterday. We have recently moved to the area and I still haven't unpacked the pans... so dinner out again. Well, we ordered the Cobb salad and the Old Mill Pizza. Both were very tasty. The pizza was spicy and had a crisp thin crust. It's a total do over, and since I live a block away, I am sure that I will put a work out on the Treehouse Cafe!

What a nice find. Atmosphere is wonderful! The outdoor dining was very relaxing and enjoyable. Great service, good food. I had Arne's Cobb Salad, not your usual Cobb. Granny apples were a refreshing addition to this salad. Didn't miss the bacon or eggs. There was a ton of grilled chicken on the salad.

I stopped by Treehouse Cafe about a week ago. The service was good. Food was good. My friend and I ordered BLT (lots of BACON!!!!!), House Green Salad, and Manicotti (came with a Caesar salad). I generally not a big fan of cheese, but I did enjoy the Manicotti that I ordered. I will stop by again when I visit Bainbridge Island next time.

Today was my 2nd visit to the Treehouse cafe. My first visit was quite some time ago but I do recall the food being good. I do not recall the level of excellence regarding the service though. Back to today's visit, great service...not great food. I was with a child whom, like most children, only eats cheese pizza. Instead of a complicated order. I ordered 1 slice cheese and 1 slice veggie. The cheese pizza was gobbled up. I was disappointed in my slice though. It went from luke warm to stone cold way too fast and cheese looked like it had been sitting a while. I did eat it because I was starving but next time I will order the whole pie. Our waitress was immediately charmed by my young buddy and our service was fabulous.

On my first visit I got to try some cheese pizza and the mushroom ravioli. Its a pretty nice menu, and they had dogfish 90 minute IPA on tap..so that was cool. Very nice sauce and crust on the pizza. The interior is laid out kind of weird, seems like it could be optimized to make better use of the space. Overall, I would like to come back, and I'll probably switch this to my go-to pizza carryout.

Treehouse Cafe, is a restaurant that I look forward to visiting every time I am on Bainbridge visiting family. They have the best pizza on the Island! Their staff is great and their choices very accommodating for people who require substitutions and things in their meals.

Given the high ratings, I guess I had higher expectations for Treehouse to pull through with good food. Sadly, the Yelposphere led me astray a little bit with this one. While our server was very nice and helpful, the rest of our experience here was completely "meh". We had various things that had to be sent back because they weren't clean (glasses with lipstick stains, plates with food debris, silverware). The atmosphere is confusing - ample space seems to be able to accommodate larger groups, but if you turn left in the building upon entering it's actually the bar area (despite looking the same as the rest), so no children can be there. They let us know a bit forcefully that our 4-year old could not be across the invisible line at 11am on a Sunday morning. I mean, I understand not being able to have a 4 year old near the pool table area, but the area between the pool tables and the rest of the place seems all the same to me. Plus, it's 11am on a Sunday and the child was four. We're not trying to slip anything past anyone here. Finally, the food was just a let down. I didn't try the pizza, which seems to get higher ratings. The sandwiches, soups, and salads that I tried were all pretty standard. Not great, not awful, just standard. Had the food come through as better-tasting, I could easily overlook the dirty dishes and weird layout.

Food: 4 stars. Atmosphere/vibe: 4 stars. Service: 1 stars. We love the food here and it's a fun, upbeat place for lunch and dinner. But the 3 times we've been here, the service has been less than stellar. We visited just this week. It didn't take long to seat us. It took a while for the waitress to come around to our table. She asked for our drinks but we had no menu. Once we got our menu and ordered drinks, it took her another 15mins to bring our ordered drinks, but no water. The table that arrived 10mins after us got water. I finally haled down the guy who seated us for water. 20mins later, our server came back for our dinner order. They weren't short staffed, I saw other servers in the other sections. On another visit we decided to order takeout. I put my order in and I believe it took our order 30mins to cook. I ended up waiting for a whole hour noticing carry out boxes sitting on a counter in the kitchen. The food was lukewarm when they handed the food to us. They wouldn't even take it off the bill or discount us for giving us cold food. Sorry, not going back.

Went on a recommendation from a friend. Ate at the bar. The bartender was friendly and attentive. The draft selection was modest but quality. The sports on the TV were more interesting than normal (gymnastics, diving), and the food was fantastic. We had the artichoke dip and the Thai peanut pizza. Both were outstanding. The artichoke dip was made more interesting than the norm by the addition of capers and the grilled baguette slices with it were perfect and plentiful. The Thai pizza was just amazing. Very well balanced and pillowy crust. Give it a try. I'll probably crave this meal until we can get back here.

Italian side of the menu was horrible. Spaghetti was not spiced well and watery. The meatballs were bland. Manicotti was flavorless and overcooked. To the credit of the staff, they removed the items we complained about from the bill. Beer selection is moderate but acceptable. Live music is decently staged but the noise from the nearby bar section is not stopped by thin curtains that they don't even keep fully closed, limiting enjoyment some.

Tucked in a quaint old European village setting, The Treehouse Café seems like a great hangout for locals. It's a place where you can play pool, drink beer, watch sports, and enjoy straightforward fare (sandwiches, salads, pasta, pizza). They open early and stay open late. The spacious cafe also carries coffee, ice cream and pastries. Glancing at the other tables, it looked like pizza was the thing to order. * Chop Salad ($8.50): fresh romaine lettuce with a generous amount of cut up genoa salami and mozzarella, tomatoes, walnuts and a tangy balsamic vinaigrette, good in a simple sort of way. The salad was huge - definitely a meal kind of salad.

On a regular night of live music & movies, the staff was disorganized, there was no hostess in sight to sort the wait list, the staff was short w/answering questions and the service was less than stellar. My friend & I split a table with a pair of strangers just to have a seat within the half hr waiting period for our pizza & salad. Maybe they could put up heat lamps outside for the cooler nights so people can still dine outside and manage the space better. The pizza crust seemed overdone but toppings were aplenty & one chop salad was enough for two, beers on tap & wine were good! Too bad there's no liquor on site...

Probably the best pizza on the Island. Lots of imaginative combinations, yummy beer, located in a very picturesque part of Bainbridge.

Took my family out to lunch here today while visiting Bainbridge. The pizza was super tasty as was the cobb salad and french dip. Good aesthetics versatile for families or grow ups, separate full bar. I'd go here often if I were a local and will make it a point to try it again next time I'm over on the island.

Come find this now not so little gem at Lynnwood Center. Their pizzas are really good (not artisan quality, but really nice nonetheless) -- I particularly like the Thai chicken pizza (without the oregano seasoning) and the Lytle (which is a white sauce (oil and garlic) pizza with mozzarella and cheddar (yes, cheddar -- it melts just fine, no graininess), Roma tomatoes, and other yummy ingredients I can't remember right now (note to restaurant -- get a facebook page or website and post your menu). I also recently had their "vegetarian sandwich" with turkey and mayo instead of hummus on a lovely lightly toasted Ciabatta roll -- very fresh, crunchy and flavorful. They have a nice selection of beers and make a decent latte (which is wonderful because there is a great new artisan bakery next door which does not serve coffee drinks). For those who want to watch tv and play pool, there is a big new addition with a big tv and a billiards table. They also serve ice cream (I haven't tried any). There is also fairly new outside seating -- we recently sat outside in the shade and enjoyed a delicious lunch after a long bike ride. The service has always been very friendly, conscientious and mostly prompt.

Came here for some lunch on a nice summer day. I had never been to this venue and didn't even check Yelp before I came! I walked in and there was ample seating on the outside and from the looks of it they have gone through a recent expansion. We sat in the bar area complete with a couple pool tables, dartboards, and a place for a live band. So far so good. Now on to the ordering. It took quite a while for our server to come back to us after the initial greeting/drink order. By the time she came back around we all ordered our meals and I had the french dip sandwich. Once again, it took quite a while to get all our meals (party of 4). By the time it came out I was starving and expecting a succulent french dip sandwich. Unfortunately that isn't what I got. Now it wasn't the worst sandwich I've ever had but nothing to rave about. Also someone else had ordered a chicken ceasar salad and it was very bland. All in all, very nice venue, less than stellar service and average to below average food.

Great pizza (#6) and fun laid back vibe where the locals go. Next to a theater.
